FAQ’s
We are open to ALL organizations. So far we’ve worked with middle school and high school sports teams, chorus and bands, as well as dance studios, travel ball teams, and gymnastics and cheer gyms. We would also love to work with other clubs and organizations such as JROTC and martial arts.
Lakeland, Bartow, Auburndale, Winter Haven, and surrounding Central Florida areas.
Most likely if you’ve seen it online, we offer it! We have a portable studio we can set up for banner sessions and digital composite prints. We also have the equipment and knowledge to offer dramatic lighting media days with smoke, colored lights, hex lights, or shimmer walls. Or we can do a simple media day on your home court or field. We can create a look that is trendy or unique – whatever you’d prefer.
Absolutely! We’ll communicate via email or a phone call to create a look that fits the needs of your team.
Myself and/or my team will show up, set up, and direct your team/athletes. We have a set number of poses per athlete that we’ll go through. We even bring posing guides! We strive to keep photo day quick and efficient. Afterwards, links will be sent to the parents for ordering prints, digitals, and product packages. All physical prints will be shipped directly to the parents unless otherwise discussed with the coach.
Each photo day / media day is different. Please fill out the questionnaire to receive a custom quote depending on your needs and the size of your organization.
Some teams pay for the pictures out of the team budget. Some sessions are paid for by the booster club. A lot of sessions are offered to the parents for sign ups and payment. We work with all scenarios.
We require a minimum of 5 athletes to come to you. Otherwise, we request you come to our Bartow studio.
Whether the school chooses to cover the cost of photos, or the parents are asked to pay themselves, we will communicate and deliver all agreed upon images or products directly to the parents. This takes the coach or director out of the middle.
Yes! We have a studio in Bartow. Often times individuals will come to us for their own session if their team or organization doesn’t offer a photo day. We love working with students one-on-one.
Yes. We design and print senior, 8th grade, and team banners of various sizes. Please reach out for our banner pricing guide. We have a collection of banner templates to choose from that can all be customized to match team/school mascots, colors, branding, etc.
Definitely. As a band parent herself and former chorus member throughout her school days, Beth has a special love for band and chorus programs. We regularly create traditional style band or chorus composite prints for local schools. These would also work for Greek life headshot composites, or first responder headshot composites.
We typically will set up a studio at your location to capture a team photo, or each dance group photo, followed by individual headshots and full body shots of each athlete or dancer. These sessions usually include the original edited image, as well as each image edited with a digital background that matches the costumes or uniforms. Other dramatic lighting options are available as well – especially for gymnastics and cheer.
This is a common practice and there are a lot of different ways to offer this. We are open to discussing this or fundraising ideas for your organization.
We have 20+ years of experience in the photography industry that we bring to the table when working with your organization. That includes knowledge of lighting, posing and editing, as well as how to communicate well with organizers and parents. Beth is also a mom of a teen and a young adult and has a way with teens and kids that provides a fun and uplifting experience.
You don’t have to settle for one generic photo-day look. BC Visuals can create everything from clean classic portraits to natural environmental images, digital backgrounds, shimmer portraits, and dramatic signature lighting—all while making the day easy for the coach, director, and parents.
